Thanks for all the weather information. We will be staying within 20 NM and leaving Sapelo Sound Georgia at daybreak Friday April 18th. Sapelo sound is about halfway between Savannah and Brunswick. It is about a 30 hour sail to the outer Charleston Harbor entrance and from what I see, if the forcast holds, it looks like it would be a good trip.

If anyone has a few minutes, will you take a look and see if I am missing anything? I am new at weather windows and would value the advice of seasoned sailors.

      Thanks

He had us looking at a number of NOAA sites. The best for long term predictions was this one: http://www.opc.ncep.noaa.gov/

The first row gives the conditions and predictions at high altitude. Second row is the surface forecast. Third row is wind and waves.
