Thanks Philip. This is helpful. The hose I'm talking about comes
straight down from it's connection at the exhaust riser which is in
the form of an elbow about 2 1/2 feet over the engine. It is about
1/4 inch and you can see a small but steady stream of sea water
discharge into the bilge.
What I think I can do is turn it aft 90 degrees - without crimping
it - about 1 foot down from where it's connected, bore a hole
through a partition, take it through a locker and terminate it at a
scupper in the aft part of the cockpit, where I can also see it.
I am not quite sure what you meant by "took the guts out of my
vented loop" ?
Thanks again - Mike Murphy.
