Hi all... I'm looking for a boat and skipper available to take 6
people to Appledore Island in the Gulf of Maine on June 28. I'm
thinking Portsmouth, NH or nearby harbor?
My mother and father were frequent visitors to the Island and the
Shoals Marine Laboratory there. My dad died in 1997 and his remains
were scattered there. My mother recently passed away and her final
wishes were to be scattered there as well.
I have checked with the lab and they tell me that thier policy opn
this is, "go ahead. Just don't tell us." As for landing on the
island, there is a dock and a landing fee which we will cover.
Will cover cost of fuel, water... a reasonable fee.
