Ken, I just visited your site and tried to send an E-Mail inquiry
but received a "permanent failure" web response. Looks like a nice
product. I liked your technical discussion. I makes it easier to
    compare the other products.

We bought a 1984 Camper 58 that was damaged in a Florida huricane a
couple of years ago. It is a project. We will bu updating
electronics and lighting and I plan to replace the incandescents with
LED. My research so far has shown the technology to be normally low
and bad as you point out on your TECH pages. I found up to now only
one possible source with current regulation. I am sure you are
    familiar with http://www.bebi-electronics.com/serving.html I would
be interested in a candid opinion of their product. You have to
    admire the guy's life style.

Our boat is 24 VDC. Nav lights are AQUA SIGNAL. I am sure you know
these well. The multifunction mast light also has a Xenon strobe.
In addition to the Nav lights, there is a variety of interior
lighting including 24 VDC and 110 AC. There are modern high
intensity spots, flourescents, red/white combo dome lights, reading
spots, courtesey and so on. Right now the boat is totally
inaccesable (it snows here; today -15C). I will conduct a full audit
of lighting and other consumers in the spring. The instruments will
largely be replaced before extensive cruising so power consumption
will be a consideration for each of these. Launch is spring 2009
with lots of broken stuff to fix.

Eventually, we plan on solar and wind suplimental charging. The boat
primary is a 115 HP Westerbeek with 20 KW alternator and the Gen-Set
is a Westerbeek 12 KW. There are several inverters on board and a
Pathmaker. Huge consumers are two cabin AC units. Others are 2KW
radar and a large aray of radio gizmos. The fridge and freezer are
PTO from the engine. I plan based on today's data on AGM batteries
sized by the house battery box which held 4 huge ROLLS wet cells with
    lots of spare room.

My hope is to achieve diesel independence for most operation.

I am not sure how to reach you (phone?)since the internet would not.
