    Mike, I looked at the Aldo website. I don't see any reason to choose
    an Aldo over the other furlers that are available and supported around
    the world.

    I suggest that you ask for feedback regarding some of the well known
    furlers. There may even be a Yahoo Groups for the individual furlers.

    You want a furler that works well all the time, has an excellent track
    record and is easy to maintain with parts available. Speaking of
    tracks, if you are going to race you definitely want dual tracks.

    I have used a Profurl for 13+ years on my Spemcer 53 sloop and have
    been very pleased with it, cruising and racing.

    Do some more home work.
