Next message: Ken James: "[world-cruising] routes and times for S sails in GOM"
I have an unusual question - well, maybe not to you, but to me, it is
most unusual! I have been given a CD with an extensive listing of
waypoints in my favorite cruising area - The Sea of Cortez. This area
is notoriously burdened by inaccurate charts - thus accurate, REAL
waypoints are important. The problem is, these waypoints were
downloaded grom Garmin equipment - are in a .GDB file format, and my
own chartplotter and navigation software are Raymarine. I am so far
unable to make the two talk. Have any of you been down this road? I
would very much like to find a downlaodable software that would take
the garmin data and convert it to Raymarine compatible format. Any
experience out there? I am getting desperate! Thanks!!
