    Rather than double-braid you might consider one of the 8- or 12-strand
    lines. They retain the stretch of traditional 3-strand nylon with
    massively improved stowage factors and greatly reduced hockling. Yale
    makes an 8-strand called Brait and includes splicing instructions on
    their web site ( http://www.yalecordage.com/html/pleasure.html ).
