Mike,
It stows better, it doesn't "hockel" (sp?), and it has enough stretch. The recent article in "Practical Sailor" points to stretch and the heat it causes as a reason for line failure (PS, Dec 2007). Then, on the other hand, I have some.

One question, Why would you want to use double braid on an anchor rode? I would think it a poor choice because it doesn't stretch much, a quality you want in an anchor rode.
