    Hi all:

I currently have a a 45 meter (150 feet) long all chain anchor rode with a twisted, nylon line, tail spliced on to the chain. I want to replace the tail with a braided line with nylon core, but the traditional, braided eye splice with thimble is too large to go through my deck access to my rode/chain locker. Can any of you point me to a suitable attachment of braided line to chain??

    Thanks !

    TA
