    Count another pleased owner of a 4-burner stove; not Force 10 though;
    our curent stove is an Eno. But we had a Force 10 on our previous
    boat (built January 2000) and never had a problem with it. Maybe the
    older ones were built better than those currently on the market?
    Anyway, of course you can cook great meals with fewer burners; but if
    you have the space then I would go with the 4-burner model. I
    frequently use all 4 burners simultaneously. As for the comment about
    a 4-burner gimbaled stove not balancing, we have not yet experienced
    any problems in that regard. We also have the single burner Magma
    grill on the rail but have never used it to cook in a pot or pan.
    Seems like too much cooking heat would be lost in the constant wind
    outside. But that might be worth trying.

    FWIW, a 20-lb bottle of propane lasts us about 3 1/2 months. We are 2
     people living aboard full-time and cook one full meal and one light
    meal 7 days per week. We have a 10-lb bottle as our back-up. Have
    had no problems getting propane bottles refilled anywhere in the
    Caribbean.
