Just a plug for 4-burner stoves. We inherited our old Force 10 with
the boat, so I imagine it's quite old. We upgraded the knobs and front
panel and it works like a charm. I had read all the statements saying
one never uses the four burners, but I do. I have small pans that can
fit with my large pans--granted, only three can fit when I use a huge
pan--but I like being able to have rice going on a back burner, maybe
a small pan reducing sauce next to it, a larger pan in front holding
something else, and another smaller one with the veggies steaming next
to that one. Granted, a lot of our meals are one-pot wonders, but for
a dinner party, I've enjoyed the options. Not that I couldn't do just
as well with two--I lived that way in Europe for years (though we did
have that cute little baby burner in between, which worked for the
    sauces or espresso).
