    Dear Sailors

Those living in the north will have their boats mainly on shore. It's
time to select an antifouling system for the next few seasons.

I heard of "Nano" systems. Basically these are hard-epoxy coatings
containing no biocide and no copper, working only because of their tiny
repelling surface, where placton can't settle by lack of grip.

Who has experienced such antifouling systems during the past years?
How effective can i expect these Nano-coats will be?
Are they depending on cruising habit (sea region, miles)?
How long can i expect these antifoulings will last ?
    Who knows a good value-for-money product ?

    Thanks for help
