FWIW,
I have been cruising the Bahamas for the last two months and I would say that if you came over here in an empty boat you could provision with pretty much all you needed, anywhere you went. Not to say that all 47 brands of toothpaste are available everywhere, and the prices are 25% ~ 35% higher on some things but there is a lot available here.
People pretty much have to eat everywhere. ; )
