I do have a hard time knowing what all I have, but since I am at least a
bit familiar with a lot of it, I know
more or less what I have as far as the ones "I" like go, and the others
I have an idea of by category.

I should have said "all free from the internet". Where to get free ebooks?

Many, many places on the net. Here are a few. If you don't see the type
you want, just keep looking on this list of links!

Try looking on esnips for many contemporary books, the best way to do
that I've found is to do a google search, for example "mitchener"+"esnips".

Esnips has taken to being rather crafty of late, now you sort of have to
get started by a 'back door procedure', so do a search on google, then
when you get a hit on esnips go to it and then use the "tags" listed in
the side bar menu, such as E-Books, to find the books, otherwise esnips
will say nothing matches if you try a direct search. But there are tons
of books there if you do a little digging...many are listed innumerable
times so you have to separate the wheat from the chaff.

There are thousands of ebooks to be had from usenet:
    alt.binaries.e-book, alt.binaries.e-books, alt.binaries.e-book.flood,
    alt.binaries.e-book.technical.

Bittorrent sites have some harder to find and newer books, but you have
to download a bittorrent program first, no big deal. Then find the
bittorrent sites with a google search and do a search on them by title
    or author.

Below are some sites I use.
