My experience too. If you make a buck or two, count it as treat money.
Unless you name is Pardy or Calder and can turn your experience into
$aleable articles, (mine isn't and so) I would not make generating an
income part of my cruising plan.

making other plans", John Lennon.
I would suggest the viewing of "Lost in America" as part of your cruising
education.
