I cruise single handed....thus showers are not as frequent as would occur if there were anyone else aboard. I drink 3 liters of water a day....using Crystal-light to flavor the water if I am using ambient temp water.
I cook 2/3 saltwater 1/3 fresh water.
I wash my hair and bath using the astronaut products that require only a quart of water and no rinse off.
During a 36 day transpac I used about 42 gallons of water.
