[world-cruising] Desalination system for life raft/ditch bag

Since this group is so quiet, I will start a topic. We are
considering cruising the South Pacific next year. This would be our
first time crossing an ocean and we obviously would want to add a
desalination system of some kind to our ditch bag/life raft. I am
just starting to research what units are currently on the market (with
the slowest internet connection that you can imagine). Saw the recent
posting about the new system using sugar and thought this might be a
good topic to raise on this group list.

Any recommendations? Obviously want something small with capability
of potable water production sufficient for 2 people.
