    You seem convinced that the problem had to do with boat construction. Your prejudice is not well hidden.

    BTW, do the words "blisters" and "Valiant" ring a bell?

    From the description in the original account, I suspect the keel bolts are
    still firmly attached to the keel. Rather, the fiberglass hull failed.
