Yes, there is quite a bit on this topic on the SSCA Discussion Board
(and you need not be a member to use this forum!), just go to
www.ssca.org and click on the DB link. You will have to register, as
you would for any online forum, but it's certainly worth it.
Also, by becoming a member (as little as $40/yr!), you can have access
to all kinds of cruising info, mostly by full-time cruisers, as with
the DB. New members now have a great offer from Practical Sailor (the
mag with no ads and full of reviews, including deck-stepped masts!),
where you get a CD of two years of PS! Wow, what a great offer for
newby cruisers.
