    I have done the trip several times in late aug, sept.
    I like to go out to 125W or about 50 miles out. It's
    around the 100 fathom line. The swells are a little
    smother and no or very little trafic. If you wait for
    a high, you may not have much wind for the trip south,
    plan on motoring a lot.
