surely almost any boat is capable of crossing the atlantic as has been
proven many times...............BUT it is down to the mindset of the
skipper............so this person does not have an ocean crossing mindset.............why
should that be an issue here?..........how sad.............how many marinas
are populated with blue water capable boats and blue water looking boats with
all the knobs bells and whistles like solar panels all over the place wind
generators and vane gear on the transom..................and who never leave
the marina for more than the occasional day sail......why should that bother
any one?......that is an even stranger mindset than someone who does not want
to spend weeks crossing any ocean........i am sure the 'dreamers' here
outnumber the doers.......typical of life and human nature as i understand and
    observe it.

    regards
