Responding to Steve, who asked "... So, Pacific sailors, what sort of
weather should I expect off the coast of Washington and Oregon in either
late June or early July? Any leads on websites with historical weather data
    for this stretch?..."

The following site has the pilot charts for the Northern Pacific.

It can be a nasty stretch of water at times. It could be worth giving a
weather router a few bucks to help you pick the right window.
