    Thanks for all the info Ken,
    We plan on doing a bit of Great Lakes and river cruising. The appeal of the
    LED units is the small size. I have a Cat and the lights are mounted on the
    ends of the cross beam. Great visibility, but the units are subject to
    damage. The bigger the lamp housing and lens the greater the possibility of
    damage.

    I plan to get a LED for the Anchor and the Tricolor off shore sailing light.
