About three years after I bought my Valiant, I decided to install a
Dynaplate directly beneath the nav station, where it would serve as a ground
plate for my SSB. I emptied out the compartment under the nav seat and
pulled up the false floor. Underneath that piece was a full bottle of rum!
The label was almost completely rotted away, but the contents were sealed
and delicious.
Don't know if the PO left it for me or simply forgot it, but my crew and I
sure appreciated it.
