As a female sailor with dreams, being abandoned by a non-sailing husband of 23 years turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. So, take heart all of you gentlemen. After a number of years spent recovering from divorce--and raising my children as I got my own act together, I put a few parameters on the internet (one of which was SAILOR), met my darling husband, and we're living aboard now and going cruising. Four and a half years after the "I do", I couldn't be happier.I bet there are other women like me out there who would love to meet one of you. I've been sailing all my life--longer than my husband!--and have met quite a few women who think this is a grand way to live.Blessings to you all,Normandie
