You can't keep a candle lit in the rain! SE Alaska is almost the wettest
place on earth. Doesn't it rain in Ketchikan over 300 days/year?

I know Puget Sound gets it's share of rain, but at least there's some sun
part of the year. All I saw in Ketchikan was wet, wet, and more wet. Not
    the most desirable sailing weather.
