We (think we) realize ourselves that we're in for a culture shock,
especially coming from a socialist country that pampers every single
citizen, smuthers it in subsidized rules and castrates it with punitive
taxes. It will be quite something else to visit countries where a human
    life is worth nothing....
But the beauty-part is why we leave for this trip, next to the urge to
grab this chance of a lifetime. I hope and expect we'll look back when
we're old and feel very glad we did this despite the poverty, suffering
    and corruption we'll surely find.

I am still curious if others W_C members have been to WA and can share
some experiences or are planning on going and share some material.
But I guess this group is dominated by US-members who dare not leave
their territorial waters or prefer luxurious stays in the Caribbean ???
(written with a smile or as you put it with tongue in cheek)...

    Fair winds,
    Len.
