    Try keeping it down low in the bilge where it would stay cooler. Other than that with out refrigeration, it pretty hard with the high heat and high humidity.

      I have a critically important question to ask;. This goes well past
      mere mast lights and low flying UFOs. Traveling in the tropics it seems
      candy becomes gooey in its wrapper over a short period of time, even in
      unopened bags. Short of refrigeration, what type of candy holds up the
      best and what are the best storage methods/tricks? We have tried the
      high melt temp chocolate also. not so good,.. tastes like Xlax.
      interested in your experiences.
