    Roy,

Thank you so much for the update on their situation. Please let them know we
are praying for them and would invite them over, except that we're presently
    in harbor in California!

How horrible for Lydia to go from the joy of the first post to the tragedy
of the second. Please let her know that fault is not the issue here--none of
us is perfect, nor are our boats, nor is the weather or the sea. We do our
best, and stuff happens, even to good people, people who have taken eight
years to prepare and learned all they can. I was involved in two fires--all
from faulty wiring in a nearby building. while our wiring was sound. In the
first, we lost all. Because of this, I can fully relate to her pain and
sense of homelessness. Good people came to our aid--thank God, good people
seem to be aiding them as well.

    Blessings,
    Normandie Fischer
