This is a reply to sender; the other choice is reply to all. I have deleted the entire original message and left the subject information. From the subject information a thread should be able to be followed. I have noticed sometimes that the body of the message changes sometimes and the subject line stays the same. In that case it is bad form and the subject header should be changed to match the new body of information.
I think there is a solution when out at sea on limited bandwidth SSB or worse sat phone, an email address used for that function only can be is useful. It keeps it from being spamed and over used. When in range of wi-fi or internet cafe then the other email address can be accessed. The only times out of communication are long Atlantic crossings and South Pacific crossings of a bout a month.
Bye the way February 23, 2007 is the official date for no code for General ham radio license for the United States.
