Getting someone to write something about us leaving the country would
seem to be a reasonable thing. However, who to get to write is the
question. No employer. Driver's license is NV. Maybe the FM3 resident
visa from Mexico? Even then, they apparently have some service down
that way as long as we are in large enough cities, etc.
We're looking forward to being out of reach of all phones unless we want
to find them and their phone company silly rules and regulations for
financially bleeding us dry. Seems like our U.S. system of business has
more to do with charging exorbitant fees and making obscene profits
(especially when it comes to big business like medical related, energy
related, and communication) than it does with "free enterprise." It's
not our "culture" to negotiate for a "bargin" like in other cultures
too. Sometimes, I think we have a big "I" (idiot) tattooed on our
foreheads when people see what country we are from. We seem to be
programed to pay, pay, and pay some more for anything and everything
under the guise of patriotism and protection while curtailing the
freedoms we have had under those same patriotism and and protection
issues. Whatever happened to corporate "fair play"? Small business seem
to try to do that but they are often "ruled" by what they have to pay to
the big businesses and have to charge accordingly to show a profit. In
the last 25 or so years, I think we have seen rule by big business
creep in to the U.S. system via the legal bribery (lobbying) that big
business interests seem to excell at. We, the people, don't have enough
money to have access our legally, if stupidly, elected representatives.
After spending over 20 years in a military uniform, some in places I'd
not like to think much about, it is frustrating that most people don't
bother to vote and those that do get their information to base that
vote on 30 second sound bites that are out and out lies. Truth? What's
that? It took hundreds of years for Rome to fall when its citizens
didn't care. Wonder how long in this day and age it will take the U.s.?
Well, enough of my rant on that subject. Gets me nothing but an over
acid stomach and more frustration.
