    Hi Robert,

    David said it all ;-)

I had the same problem, Catana being left over in my selection
followed by Outremer. One Outremer in New York is for sale now (or was
    a few weeks ago).

Down Under are a few nice cats at reasonable prices, still I ended up
building my own Schionning 43'. Look at his homepage, he provides his
designs with helpfull figures about performance and average prices and
hours to build one. Unfortunatly the carbon prices are exploding right
now. We (I and my wifes family) build in Far East, it is our second
boat of that size, prices are material plus 20% for import/export
expenses and labour hours times 5$. Now you know why this is the only
way to go for me to have a nice and new boat at a reasonable price,
much cheaper than many second hand and I know what I get ;-)

When you compare the cats, weight, sailarea and length are the main
criteria. Just look at Orange II or some other monsters, 120' at
almost no weight but 10,000ft² sail, now look at the same data of a
Prout. I do not know why they choose that name, I'd be ashamed.
