Just wondering if anyone has reliable data on 34-42 ft multi-hull
speeds? I'm not interested in boats that are built for the super-rich
or for racers - I'm interested in finding a book or some other source
that lists (honestly) the speeds of various cruising catamarans
(SeaWind, Prout, Gemini, Corsair, etc.) in various conditions.
It seems that the dealers of these boats depend on anecdotal evidence
to assure me that their boat really does sail at 22 knots in 3 knots
of wind - I'm skeptical.
