    Hi All,
We just did it. We bought our "dream boat," a Tayana 42 aft cockpit
cutter. Many of you have given me advice over the past year and I
thank you for it. I especially want to thank Nancy B. for
recommending Trevor Davies to help us sail the boat from Titusville,
FL, to Moss Point, MS. He is the epitome of a professional delivery
captain and I learned an incredible amount from him in the 6 days it
took us to make the trip. I also had a very positive experience with
our broker, Stan Dabney of Offshore Atlantic Yachts. Stan is a
cruiser himself and much more knowledgeable about the specifics and
peculiarities of cruising boats than most of the brokers we talked to.
The only really bad words I have are reserved for insurance companies
and I won't shock your sensibilities by repeating them here ;-) We
are now 16 months from setting off cruising. If anyone is interested,
you can see pics of our boat on our website www.patrickandnancy.net.

    Thanks again,
    Patrick
