    Hi Jim,
I used my one because of a mast problem, well, my cat stayed put, but
then I was scared, I really do NOT want to bring this monster out in
heavy seas and wind. If you do not get sea anchor and your boat
synchronized on the same wave you will have serious problems. But this
fine adjusting at those heavy loads is no fun too. I will still take
it with me as I have it, but not recommend it for real bad weather.
Searching for less stressy solutions I found the seriesdrouge.

I am sailing in Asia too, so my family is happily sewing. I found the
pattern over the internet in a German magazin,

do not worry, for the pictures and figures and patterns no need to
understand German, though it is more fun off course ;-))

For me this will be the first choice in heavy weather.
