You first get into it, and think it's a choice between this or that.
Then they start popping up, from around the world, and it becomes a
longish multiple choice.
I have never used a sea anchor of any sort, but have decided to order
one because I can't find a suitable surplus supply chute here in
Thailand. My little cutter heaves to like a dream (I'm told by other
owners, because while I have hove-to, honestly it was never in real
bad stuff).
Anyway, I reckon I'll get a Fiorentino. If you have one or have used
one, and know of any issues with them, I'm all ears. Also Fiorentino's
sizing recommendations seem to be for smaller chutes on bigger boats
and I'm wondering if that's an issue with anyone.
I know this is one of those questions that are tough because not many
folks have used a lot of different para-anchors, they are either happy
or not with their own. So I don't expect a comparison, but if you have
the experience of more than one your input would be appreciated.
Thanks.
