Agree with Nancy - living in south fla we get growth
year round - i used micron 66 from interlux and after
a year am very pleased with the results - you will
probably also want to get some "on and off" to clean
above the water line after you have sanded and before
taping and painting as it is really tough stuff but
will clean the upper area of the hull and gives you a
great surface for waxing - did mine in two days at a
yard on the miami river with some help as it was
august and i am getting old and it was hot and really
humid and i am getting old -
by the way did experiment with a white metal paint for
the prop and shaft as you can see - only 1 or 2 coats
and at one year seems to be partially working - a
couple of more coats are probably needed.
