Everything past 1100 EDT on June 14 is a forecast. The only thing that is
forecast is the track; winds are not shown, nor is any "intensification".
Most of the forecasts at the time showed Alberto to become "extratropical"
once it re-entered the Atlantic. Certainly the water temps in the area
would not have been great enough to cause re-intensification. Thinking back
on the infamous "Perfect Storm", one component of that event was a decaying
Atlantic hurricane, which combined with a deep low passing over North
America. Anybody see anything like that last week?
