Try City National Bank of Florida

    http://www.citynational.com

My banker is in the Las Olas office (Karen Harris) but I've yet to find
a poor response by any bank employee. Most are long-term employees --
they "know their stuff" and customers.

Basically I did a phone search in my hometown (lived there then) and
City National had a real human being who answered the phone, plus my
questions. Fees were the lowest that I found (for someone broke - I
didn't have a large enough balance to qualify for anything free)
In any event Karen Harris opened my account and has helped me as I've
switched through various ones that better suit my circumstances. I have
    found her responsive and helpful.

Specifically, my account balance certainly wouldn't make anyone think
"oh, she's rich, of course let's give her great service and a private
    banker"
Still, I get great service, and I rather suspect that all folks do.

I use an Amazon Chase Visa card and payments are taken from my checking
account. While still shoreside, the Amazon card affords me gift
certificates on AZ. After departure, I've still not decided. We also
    have a Discover card.
Zero balances so no interest payments.

    J, satisfied with City National

Chris, I am a banker. As delicately as possible, permit me to at least
shed some light on your question. The relationship is not so much as
function of the bank but the customer. Most banks of any size have
a 'private banking' division and a few banks do purely private banking.

Private banking, for the most part, but not always, is reserved for
    high asset individuals.
