I have a 4-stroke, 6hp Nissan, and flush it often but not every time. I
bought a heavy duty garbage can and fill it with water at the house. The
motor sits on the edge of the can and I run if for about 15-30 minutes. It's
a good idea to flush them often, they last longer.

    Take care,
    Gregory david Stempel
