Next message: Courtney Thomas: "Re: [world-cruising] Selecting roller furling"
Richard;
I have a Furlex manual system on my Citation 35 and it has performed flawlessly. Once through my own ignorance (when I first got it) I failed to keep tension on the line while un furling and fouled it. Thanks to the openess and ease of access, repair was quick and simple. Although I have never used another brand, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Furlex. It can be seen at http://www.seldenmast.com/. Check it out.

One of the next things we are considering is addition of roller
furling on the head sail. I keep coming back to it even though we
could go without it and be perfectly okay. Any ideas about a URL where I might
look? Failing that, any experiences pro/con with them?
Thanks.
