    I think you'll want to clean your bottomsides a lot more frequently than
    every few months in the tropics. My experience at lat 20, in Mexico and
    Hawaii, was that if I wasn't doing a lot of sailing and waited much more
    than a month, cleaning the bottom became a pretty big job. I was amazed to
    see how much slime had already started to form after just one week in Radio
    Bay (Hilo).
