And of course, the fact remains - semi-submerged happens. I have struck
unseen HARD objects beneath the surface of the sea, tings that go BONK and
slide along the underside of the hull unseen.
Small currents would be enough to keep a neutral buoyant object just
beneath the surface.
Many ponderables and imponderables.
There is just too may things happening out of our sight and mind to take
such a strident position on this topic.
