    Hmm, if the mast can not be backwards, maybe the hull is installed backwards ?

      Seriously though , you seem to be right. I'd contact Bennerau and see what they say.
      Although not a major issue, it may contribute to a rig loss in a extreme situation. At a minumum, I would get aluminum plates to fill the gap.
