and, yes, it is quite an impressive undertaking. The mere fact that
a 55' sailboat would get pretty much no press for attempting a such
a voyage indicates just how out of the ordinary it is.
Is this good or bad? I don't know but what I do know is that one
can attempt just about anything, given the means to do so. One
doesn't need a large chunk of change to sail around the world. Even
at $3.00 per gallon we're talking at least $20,000 for fuel alone to
power around.
It is cool boat though.
