    Long time lurker speaks up...

My wife and I have been in hard wind and lots of horizontal rain (and
salt water washing over the decks) (and lost prescription glasses over
    the side.)

We have looked at lasik and I unfortunately can't get full correction
in both eyes. They suggested long in one short in the other but I am
waiting for insertable contact lenses. In the mean time...

A pretty complete discussion of fogged and wet lenses appears here:
    "Eye Wear for ICEBIKING"
    http://www.icebike.org/Clothing/eyewear.htm

I also googled up "Murray's Barz
    http://www.murrays.com/barz/frame_colors.html they have user
testimonials from mountain bikers, cat sailors and PWC operators (boo
hiss). They are spendy $200+ but hitting stuff in the rain or not
    finding port is more expensive.
