Jim Baumgart has the right idea.
I recommend buying a large LARGE Fram filter setup, about 10" tall if I
remember, from your local auto supply store. Filters are cheap and the
capacity is large. A lot cheaper than hiring a "fuel polishing" service .
You can buy a electric fuel pump and filter set up for a lot less than
what these services charge. Do not even think about a drill motor pump I
have not found one that will pump diesel.
Stir it up every now and then while pumping. Start out with about a 12
micron filter. Finish with a finer filter.
