    That reminds me - when Bob and I were dating, he took me and my mom
    out in a sailboat at the US Naval Academy where he was a midshipman
    (that's where he learned to sail and to love sailing). Something - I
    don't remember what - caught his watch band, and the watch case came
    open and the works popped out. He grabbed them out of the air, but
    the band and case went into the water. I kept them a long time,
    hoping to put them back into a case for him, but eventually decided it
    was more expensive than it was worth.
