What do you mean by "what I should expect in the VI"? Are you asking about
boat availability there for a Pearson Triton or are you trying to obtain
    some other info?

Our boat is in the BVI and we have sailed the area extensively for many
years, mostly in BVI but some in USVI. What do you want to know?

Hello eveyone my name is Chad, and my wife Rebecca and I are in the
proces of putting are home up for sale in Alaska, and buying a boat to
go cruising. I was looking atthe recent postings and they were on line
with what I have been thinking about. We are headed to ST Thomas V.I.
this fall for three months. It has been many years since I have been
sailing I was a bosun in the Navy, and am looking forward to getting
my sea legs back.I was considering going to one of the sailing schools
in the islands, but have also thought about getting our boat first
then hire somone to instruct me in sailing our boat. the one boat that
keeps catching my eye is the Pearson Tritonbecouse of its noted sea
worthy history, and its affordability. I would like to know more on
what I should expect in the virgin islands. I would welcome all
    oppinions and advice.
