[world-cruising] what type boat?

Per Ken's response, I know fairly well what I want in terms of criteria, but
there are several makes of boat that would satisfy most of my criteria.

I suggest the Stephens 47. It is a very well made (now older) and designed
boat that I think you would find fits your bill in most areas and is a witch
